PT. Satwa Medika Utama Visits Airlangga University's Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (FKH) for 4th Visit to Develop Pharmaceutical Products, Disinfectants, and Probiotics

On November 11, 2022, FKH Airlangga University hosted a visit by Master's students from the Vaccinology and Immunotherapeutics Program of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (FKH) Airlangga University. On this occasion, we visited PT. Satwa Medika Utama, located in the Gunung Sindur area of ​​West Java.

PT. Satwa Medika Utama is a company engaged in pharmaceuticals, disinfectants, and probiotics for livestock. We were welcomed by Dr. Ilsan Arvan Nurgas, President Director; Dr. Dian, Deputy Director; and Dr. Suwandi, Plan Manager of PT. Satwa Medika Utama.

The event began with an introduction and company profiles of FKH Airlangga University and PT. Satwa Medika Utama. The event was followed by presentations by the company team. The main event was a short plant tour of PT. Satwa Medika Utama's production area and facilities. During our visit to PT Satwa Medika Utama, we focused on learning about production management, from raw material arrival to processing and packaging, for pharmaceutical products, disinfectants, and probiotics. This visit was part of the Vaccine Technology and Process Management courses.
